The U.S. Army Research Lab-Human Research and Engineering Directorate, Simulation and Training Technology Center (STTC) has awarded Dignitas Technologies a 5 year research contract to investigate advanced Synthetic Natural Environment (SNE) technologies in complex environments such as underground and megacities. This research will potentially address the Army's future requirements such as the Synthetic Training Environment (STE), specifically in the area of OneWorld Terrain (OWT).

"This effort will enable Dignitas to address long-standing deficiencies in the Army's ability to represent megacities in a training context," said Jon Watkins, Chief Architect for program. "Our solutions will help to define the realm of the possible for the Army's next generation training environment."

Dignitas Technologies, established in 2004, is dedicated to understanding customer Modeling, Simulation, & Training (MS&T) needs and providing specialized, architecture-centric, agile solutions. We specialize in system and software analysis, design, development, testing, and fielding of MS&T and mission rehearsal applications.
