Dignitas’ Mobile Application field tested at live fire ranges

Posted on November 1st, 2015

Dignitas Technologies' research efforts focus on transition of capabilities into real-world training applications for the U.S. Military. An example of this transition success is TRACR Ultra Lite (TÜL), a mobile app used to control and configure live-fire target ranges. Previously, instructors had to radio instructions back to a control tower for things like target pop up.

Using TÜL, range personnel can use a tablet to directly control targets, check target status, and more. TÜL has been field tested at lane and maneuver live range sites such as Ft. Pickett Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center; Ashley and Cedar Cree Ranges, Ft. Knox, Ft. Irwin, Ft. Riley, Camp Ripley, and Ft. Stewart.

Dignitas Technologies, established in 2004, is dedicated to understanding customer Modeling, Simulation, & Training (MS&T) needs and providing specialized, architecture-centric, agile solutions. We specialize in system and software analysis, design, development, testing, and fielding of MS&T and mission rehearsal applications.
